2005 Decorators Show House

The concept for this kitchen was to design a new version of a classic 1930s kitchen with a current face.  New cabinetry is combined with salvaged items to create this Kitchen.  An antique tin window pediment was reworked into a custom vent hood, a Victorian hall mirror was transformed into a plate display rack, and an old dining room table was given new life with a coat of black lacquer to become the island.  New painted off white cabinetry with inset doors, a Ceasarstone top made form recycled glass, and stainless steel counters fill in the remaining parts.  A combination of off white and walnut is detailed in the upper cabinet doors and the coffered ceiling with painted beams and a walnut ceiling.
